A Bienal de Florença 2009 está a decorrer desde o dia 5 de Dezembro e irá continuar até ao próximo dia 13.
Este ano Portugal está a ser representado por um jovem e talentoso pintor de Braga, Oscar Casares, que depois de já ter retratado a actriz Nicole Kidman e o Papa João Paulo II, entre outros, decidiu levar à Bienal a "Rainha da Pop" Madonna, com uma pintura intitulada "Virtues of the Soul as Eclipsed by the Dive Madonna".
A convite do pintor, o vosso conhecido Leonel Ranção (aka [Replycant]) realizou um pequeno "videoclip" baseado na pintura do artista, intitulado Sa'd al Bari.
